These terms govern your use of maketheshiftup.com (the ‘site’), operated by Glia Hong Kong Holdings Co., Limited (CR 79614428), a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with its registered office at Room 5003, 5F Yau Lee Centre, 45 Hoi Yuen Road, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong (‘Glia’, ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’). By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the site, browsing its pages, downloading a sample, purchasing The Shift Up, or contacting us about it, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. About this site
maketheshiftup.com is a single-product website for The Shift Up, a digital hospitality operations field guide by Marcus Treamer. The site provides information about the book, sample files, purchase links, and digital delivery for eligible buyers.
The PDF and EPUB edition is sold through Stripe. The audiobook is hosted and sold separately through ElevenReader. ElevenReader purchases are subject to ElevenReader’s own terms, app rules, and content access policies.
3. Digital products and delivery
Digital files are provided for your personal or internal business use only. After a successful purchase, you may receive access to a delivery page or download link for the purchased format. You are responsible for keeping that link private and for storing your downloaded files safely.
Because digital delivery can be immediate, you acknowledge that access may begin before the end of any cooling-off period that might otherwise apply in your jurisdiction.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the site and in The Shift Up, including text, frameworks, worksheets, graphics, layouts, product names, photographs, and source files, is the property of Glia Hong Kong Holdings Co., Limited, Marcus Treamer, or their licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may read, download, and print purchased files for your own personal or internal business use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, upload, publish, modify, or create derivative works from the book, worksheets, samples, or site content without our prior written consent.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site or the purchased files. In particular, you must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any related systems; introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code; interfere with the operation of the site or the experience of other users; scrape, harvest, or collect content for commercial purposes without permission; or share private delivery links publicly.
6. Payments and refunds
Payments for the PDF and EPUB edition are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on this site. Prices are shown before checkout and may be subject to currency conversion, card issuer charges, or local taxes depending on your location and payment method.
If the book does not earn its place in your operation, you may request a refund within 60 days of purchase. Refunds are reviewed against the purchase record and are returned to the original payment method where possible.
7. Links to third-party websites
The site contains links to external websites, including Stripe, ElevenReader, marcustreamer.com, glia.digital, LinkedIn, and Instagram. We provide these links for convenience. We do not control the content of those websites and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, terms, or privacy practices. Visiting a linked third-party site is at your own risk.
